The essence of the diverse, rich Highlands folk culture will be showcased in a festive space in Kon Tum province from March 18-23.
The festival is part of activities for the third Culture - Tourism Week in the province.
It is expected to draw the participation of nearly 600 artisans from 13 art delegations from five regional localities - Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dak Nong and Lam Dong.
All 13 festive activities will take place in Kon Tum City, Kon Plong and Ngoc Hoi districts, including traditional art performances, gong dances, costume shows, cuisine, tourism promotions, photo exhibitions, cockfights and folk games.
A number of workshops on investment and promotion of high-tech farms are also scheduled.
The Culture Space of the Gongs in the Central Highlands region has been recognised as an intangible heritage by UNESCO.
