Taking place in Batlow at the foothills of the Snowy Mountains, CiderFest celebrates the apple harvest with a European feel. Visitors can sample the finest local produce including a wide array of award-winning ciders. The Festival will also see plenty of entertainment for kids and adults, as well as a cider industry conference attracting producers and cidermakers from all over Australia.

Meanwhile competitors from around Australia and the world will have their endurance tested in the North Face 100, a 100km trail run through the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains National Park. The event is part of the Ultra Trail World Series, and attracts some of the world’s top trail runners every year.
The North Face 100 caters for all abilities, with a 50km run introduced for those looking for a less strenuous challenge. The competitors will race through the spectacular surroundings of the Blue Mountains, being treated to some of the State’s most beautiful scenery. River of Art Festival |
Finally, 10 days of creative diversity kicks off tonight in Eurobodalla as part of the River of Art Festival. The festival focuses on presenting and promoting a dynamic suite of local and visiting artists across all art forms including live music; theatre; film; textiles/wearable art; visual arts; crafts; literature; performance; poetry/story telling and creative workshops.
