MAKE MONEY – VISIT THE ROYAL MINT IN WALES

For the first time in its 1,000 year history, Britain's oldest manufacturing organisation, The Royal Mint (the world's leading export mint), will open its doors to the general public to get behind the scenes and find out how the coins we use every day are made.

There's already a fascinating onsite museum, and the visitor experience will bring The Mint to life – there's will even be the chance to strike your very own coin!

The Royal Mint is a national treasure, making beautifully crafted coins and medals for countries all over the world.

Over a thousand years of craftsmanship and artistry ensures every piece we strike is a long lasting piece of history.

Visit the Royal Mint Museum website to find out about the history of The Royal Mint and gain unprecedented access to the collection plus information on exhibitions, events and learning.
