In an Australian first, all three Top Gear presenters are heading to Sydney, along with some of their legendary racing and celebrity friends including The Stig, all to be announced at a later date.
Exclusively, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May will, for the first time, host the two-day festival in Sydney, featuring entertainment both on and off the track. The global superstars will take on the Australian Top Gear presenters Shane Jacobson and Steve Pizzati and guest stars from the world of motorsport in a series of races, stunts and challenges throughout the weekend. Loads more extras include Monster Trucks, Drifting, Drag Racing and the world's most famous tame racing driver, The Stig testing a series of seriously fast supercars against the clock.

NSW is jam-packed with fantastic drives. We've shared a few here, plus some favourites from the Top Gear Festival Sydney team.Top Gear Festival Sydney co-host Shane Jacobson: “My favourite drive in NSW is driving from Sydney to Bathurst over the Blue Mountains, I once got to see the Blue Mountains via helicopter which I have done with Dick Smith as the pilot and Paul Hogan as my co-passenger, could you get more Australian than that? I wouldn't think so. However I also know that the road to Bathurst over the Blue Mountains is also Craig Lowndes' favourite drive in NSW and if he has a spare seat anytime I think that would be a pretty good alternative.”
Top Gear Festival Sydney co-host Steve Pizzati: “ The Royal National Park is a brilliant section of road that takes in some incredibly diverse scenery; from Sydney's best (and relatively unknown) beaches like Garie Beach all the way through to cool temperate rain-forest. Once there you can continue driving on to the now iconic Sea Cliff Bridge with its tremendous views of the Pacific Ocean. A turn inland not long after then leads you to the Macquarie Pass - again a challenging section of twisty black-top that snakes its way through the trees. Your reward at the end of it all is the ever-impressive Central Highlands area of Mossvale and Bowral.”
Picturesque drives include coasting along the Legendary Pacific Coast on the North Coast of NSW in a convertible, cruising over the Grand Pacific Drive to Wollongong in a vintage car and exploring the spectacular Kosciuszko Alpine Way in the Snowy Mountains in a four-wheel drive.
More NSW dream drives include the Poacher's Way, a food and wine trail with gourmet offerings, the historic Long Paddock drive that follows the old stock routes of Country NSW and the Darling River Run, which takes visitors on a journey into Outback NSW, travelling from Walgett to Wentworth on the southern border.
