Tourism Malaysia Launches "Wira's Great Escape" Facebook Game

Tourism Malaysia Australia has launched the "Wira's Great Escape" competition on the Tourism Malaysia Australia Facebook page, inviting followers to play the interactive game on the social media site for their chance to win a trip to Malaysia.

The "Wira's Great Escape" game, which will end at 11.59pm AEST on the 29th November, 2012, has been specially designed for Facebook and invites fans to "Like" the Tourism Malaysia Australia Facebookpage, www.facebook.com/tourismmalaysiaaustralia, before trying their luck in the competition.

The promotion involves a simple mechanic where participants collect points by helping Wira, an animated Orangutan, negotiate obstacles through a jungle to collect fruit and escape from the Clouded Leopard which pursues him. The person gaining the highest number of points will take the top title, and in the event of a tie, the player with the shortest time and least number of attempts at helping Wira escape will win.

The competition winner will receive two return tickets to Malaysia with AirAsia X and four nights in Sabah, including two nights in Sandakan at the new Four Points by Sheraton, entry to the Sandakan Orangutan Rehabilitation Sanctuary, a visit to Labuk Bay to see the Proboscis Monkeys and an extra two nights at the Borneo Nature Lodge along the Kinabatangan River. The prize also includes daily wildlife spotting tours and meals.

In addition, the winner will be given two nights' accommodation at the Berjaya Times Square Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, giving them a chance to explore the busy, modern capital city.

Malaysian Borneo is world-renowned as a home to the Orangutans and the competition, sponsored by AirAsia X, Sabah Tourism and Berjaya Hotels and Resorts, aims to bring awareness to Malaysia's involvement in animal, wildlife and nature conservation.
