As part of the Lean Forward Leadership Program, leadership staff from Buller Ski Lifts recently participated in a wawa biik experience in Euroa. The immersive day on Country provided participants with the opportunity to learn directly from Taungurung Elders, gaining valuable insights into thousands of years of cultural history, traditions and custodianship.

The experience helped staff develop a stronger understanding of their responsibilities as custodians of the alpine environment while fostering greater appreciation for the enduring connection between the Taungurung people and the land.
