The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2025, themed “Da Nang - The New Rising Era”, is set to become the largest and most spectacular edition in its history. Running from May 31 to July 12, this much-anticipated event will feature 10 international teams showcasing breathtaking pyrotechnic displays over six competition nights, along with an array of side events that promise an unforgettable summer experience in Da Nang.

At the press conference launching DIFF 2025, Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Anh Thi highlighted the festival’s pivotal role in establishing Da Nang as “Asia's Leading Festival and Events Destination.” Over the years, DIFF has evolved from an international fireworks competition into a world-class festival, attracting tourists and driving economic growth in the city.

“With the innovations and breakthroughs planned for DIFF 2025, this event will mark a new era of Da Nang fireworks, further solidifying the city’s global reputation,” said Vice Chairwoman Thi.

This year’s DIFF is poised to be the largest and longest-running edition to date. Key highlights include:

• 10 Participating Teams: Representing Vietnam, Finland, England, Portugal, Poland, South Korea, Italy, Canada, and China. For the first time, two teams from Vietnam and a debut team from South Korea will join the competition.
• More than 50,000 Fireworks: Cutting-edge pyrotechnic and performance technology will create dazzling displays over the Han River.
• 10,000-Seat Viewing Stands: Offering ample space for spectators to enjoy the festivities.

Notably, ticket prices will remain unchanged, making the event accessible to both locals and tourists. The addition of a South Korean team is expected to draw more visitors from this key market.

A major innovation for DIFF 2025 is the integration of Augmented Reality (AR) technology via the Sun Paradise Land (SPL) app. This feature will allow attendees to experience virtual fireworks displays on their smartphones from anywhere.
