Briceburg Canyon
Briceburg Canyon is rich in gold mining history of the area, particularly through its association with the Gold Merced River.
The Merced River itself played a significant role during the California Gold Rush in the mid1800s, attracting droves of fortune seekers to its banks.
Downtown Mariposa
Downtown Mariposa is a blend of old-world charm and rich history and takes in the stately Mariposa County Courthouse, an example of Greek Revival architecture and the Mariposa Hotel Inn, which has welcomed visitors since the 19th century.
