Many special activities to held during the Buckwheat Flower Festival 2023 in Ha Giang

9th Buckwheat Flower Festival

According to the plan of the People's Committee of Ha Giang Province, the 9th Buckwheat Flower Festival is expected to take place in October 2023 under the theme "Blooming Stone Plateau".

To prepare for the festival, many hectares of buckwheat are planted in 3 times, ensuring the blooming period lasts from mid-September to the end of December 2023. Places are set up for visitors to take photo with buckwheat flowers such as: Heaven's Gate stopover, Thach Son Than tourist destination (Quan Ba District); the roads in Pho Cao, Sung La, Lung Cu communes (Dong Van District); Mong ethnic community cultural tourism village, Pa Vi Ha village (Meo Vac District).

Within the framework of the Buckwheat Flower Festival (lasting from the end of September to December 2023), there are many exciting activities and events such as: Ha Giang Shan Tuyet Tea Contest and organize booths to display OCOP and typical products of the Northeast region (expected on 27th October); Hot air balloon flight (expected on 22nd - 24th September); The 5th International Marathon "Running on the Happy Road" (8th October); The 4th adventure car and motorbike racing tournament “Sprit of Rock” (scheduled for 20th – 22nd October).

Coming to festival, visitors can experience boating on the lake of Nho Que Hydropower Plant, weaving linen, making Mong flutes, joining ethnic sports, enjoying traditional cuisine of Ha Giang ethnic groups...
