New stats reveal Rebel Wilson isn't the only Australian interested in Fiji tourism

Coming to you with new stats from Skyscanner that reveal a surge in interest to travel to Fiji off the back of its borders reopening to vaccinated Aussies.

In the week Fiji announced they would be welcoming travellers back, Skyscanner saw a +120% increase in searches for flights to Fiji*, with interest only continuing throughout November and December.

Please see commentary below from Skyscanner’s Fiji travel expert, Chantae Reden, on top tips for travelling to Fiji on a budget.

Skyscanner’s Fiji travel expert, Chantae Reden, said: “If you spent lockdown fantasising more about beaches and glittering seascapes than you did crowded dance floors, the islands of Fiji are the dream destination for you. Fiji has always drawn visitors because of its crazy coastal credentials, but this island nation has so much more to offer than just its sand.

“There are treks heading into its jungles and forests, epic dive trips, whale watching adventures, and you can get to know Fijian culture in its exciting capital city of Suva. Or, for a bit of laid back living, join an illuminating village tour and dig deep into Fijian tradition.”

Skyscanner currently has a range of deals on flights to Fiji including:
  • Flights to Nadi from $369
  • Flights to Suva from $511; and
  • Flights to Labasa from $642
