Calabash Bay Lodge, Berowra Waters
Calabash Bay is the ultimate wild luxury experience on the Hawkesbury River. The four bedroom, three and a half bathroom property is exclusive and secluded, featuring its own private mooring; it is only accessible by water or air.
Less than an hour from Sydney, Calabash Bay Lodge is a sanctuary boasting unencumbered views of the water, punctuated only by the private jetty. Flanked by national parks and surrounded by ancient Sydney sandstone, Calabash Bay is a true escape. As each bedroom and all living areas look out to the riverfront, you are intuitively connected to the calming nature of the river.
With various package options, Calabash Bay Lodge offers an onsite chef, allowing guests to maximise their time outdoors in nature, kayaking, walking, fishing, paddle boarding or yoga on the lodge's rooftop wellness studio. In the cooler months, guests can warm up by the open log fire or snuggle up reading a book in one of the hanging chairs or a hammock. There is ample space for guests to both come together and find their own nook to recharge.
