Baillie Lodges’ luxury Lord Howe Island accommodation, Capella Lodge, has been voted the best resort in Australia in the Condé Nast Traveler 2020 Readers’ Choice Awards’ Australia Pacific category.

A two-hour flight from Australia’s east coast and home to the world’s southernmost coral reef, the World Heritage-listed island boasts awe-inspiring natural assets making it a ‘best-kept secret’ destination.

Baillie Lodges Founders James and Hayley Baillie said, "Travellers visiting Lord Howe for the first time or the thirtieth are in for a real treat. A holiday here is a chance to get out and have an adventure while coming face-to-face with incredible wildlife, from Masked Boobys and Muttonbirds to Green Sea turtles and Lord Howe’s own anemone fish."

Capella Lodge will reopen on 10 October, following a seven-month hiatus. For more information on Lord Howe Island, click here.
