Hoshino Resorts has been encouraging the younger generation to experience Japanese traditional culture, discover local beauties all over Japan through the wonders of travel.
Their luxury boutique onsen ryokan brand, 'KAI' is now offering a special campaign, where guests in their 20's can enjoy a one-night, two-meal stay at any Hoshino Resorts KAI ryokan for just 19,000 JPY per guest – almost half the price of the normal rate.
In addition, one of their newer brands, 'OMO' has multiple branches across the country, including in Tokyo and Hokkaido. The brand is quite popular with the younger generation, mainly due to its unique, entertaining, yet casual services. One example of this is a guided tour led by an OMO Ranger, who not only guides guests through the town's most popular locations, but to unique, hidden areas only known to locals as well.
With a fresh new approach to targeting the younger generation, Hoshino Resorts will soon be increasing their portfolio of resorts on February 5, 2019, through the opening of their newest resort, BEB5 Karuizawa. Located in Nagano Prefecture, BEB5 Karuizawa is a laid-back hotel that exists without the restrictions of traditional hotels and ryokans. Guests come and go as they please, relaxing in a lounge that invites guests to bring snacks and play music – chatting over drinks and drifting into the night. The resort itself is a carefree environment that matches the happy-go-lucky travel style of its visitors.
