Have an egg-cellent time this long-weekend at Port Stephens’ annual Easter Blues and Brews festival. Local beer and cider maker, Murray’s Craft Brewing Co, is putting on a family-friendly show for the senses, running all long-weekend.
Visitors can enjoy a dual line-up of once-a-year holiday brews – Murray’s Chocolate Easter Egg Beer and its famous Hot Cross Bun Beer!
Groove to free blues concerts on Easter Saturday and Easter Sunday. Talented local musician, Tom Blake will play indie and roots inspired tunes on Saturday. And on Easter Sunday, the amazing Lamplighters Big Band will perform its own flavour of blues in a dazzling outdoor show.
And kids can have great fun with dedicated activities on Easter Sunday morning, when Murray’s will run a special family fundraising event, Easter Sunday Kids Funday. Kids can enjoy a giant Easter egg hunt, play a new Easter interactive game (bring your own mobile device!), join he Easter-themed arts and crafts, face painting and more - including a VIP visit from the Easter Bunny.
