Gay pride festivals and gay pride parades are a fantastic chance for the LGBT community to come together and celebrate our pride and culture. But gay pride events also offer an important chance to demonstrate for rights such as same-sex marriage and equality. Miami Beach Gay Pride Parade

Miami has some of the best beaches in the world, so it makes perfect sense that the city’s celebration of LGBT life would be held right there, in front of the sea. And 2018 will see a very special Miami Beach Gay Pride, as the event is entering its first decade of existence: indeed, the theme this year is ‘10 years of Pride’.

In 2018 you can expect the usual Miami Beach Gay Pride activities: the annual parade and festival - which will feature community booths and expo areas - live music and entertainment (line ups TBC), food and drink vendors and family-friendly play areas.

In fact, the event has become one of the most popular events of the entire year in Miami Beach. In 2017 around 135,000 people from all walks of life attended the three-day celebration. And we’re sure this year’s Miami Beach Gay Pride will prove to be even more successful!
Program of Miami Beach Gay Pride

On Saturday 7 April Miami Beach Gay Pride will feature a beach party with world-class DJs, entertainers, refreshments and over 100 community booths (and lots of guys making a splash in their Speedos!).

The main parade kicks off at midday on Sunday April 8, 2018. The whole Art Deco district of Ocean Drive will be shut to traffic, allowing the floats to pass and the crowds to gather and celebrate! The parade ends up at the Miami Beach Pride Festival and Expo area.

A combination of great activities and the beautiful weather - April temperatures in Miami can hit up to 28C - means the LGBT community from around the world are flocking in ever-increasing numbers to Florida for Miami Beach Gay Pride.

Phoenix Gay Pride Parade

Phoenix Pride aims to promote unity, visibility and self-esteem among the LGBTQ community in Phoenix and Arizona. The Phoenix Pride Festival includes a entertainemnt, arts, KidsSpace, Erotic World and Pride Run. One highlight is the pageant, where a Miss and Mr Phoenix Pride will be crowned!

The main gay pride parade kicks off on 8 April at 10am. Meanwhile, the Phoenix Gay Pride pageant starts 18 March at 15:00pm.
