AIME 2016 Comes to Melbourne Next Week

What is AIME?

AIME is where meetings, events and incentives industry decision makers meet to do business across Australia, Asia Pacific and the rest of the globe. It is the leading business events trade show in the Asia Pacific region.

AIME is owned by the Melbourne Convention Bureau (MCB), a business development organisation, responsible for identifying and securing international and national conferences, incentive travel reward programs and other business events for Victoria, Australia.

AIME is managed by Reed Travel Exhibitions (RTE), the world’s leading provider of exhibitions in the travel and tourism industry, with a wide-ranging portfolio of 23 international events in 15 countries throughout the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific and Africa.

Key Features of AIME 2016

  • Hosted Buyer® program: Each year AIME unites a community of more than 4,000 suppliers and meetings and events planners in Australia’s leading conference city of Melbourne, and the time efficient Hosted Buyer program is the catalyst for 400-plus top level buyers to schedule face-to-face meetings with suppliers of their choice.
  • Community Hub: In the centre of the exhibition floor, the Community Hub will provide a central place for networking, sharing of industry knowledge and an Inspiration Zone designed to instil creativity in attendees.
  • AIME Knowledge: Offers educational opportunities for business events professionals at all levels. Speakers are influential experts within and outside the industry and cover a large range of topics.   • Social program: The 2016 AIME Welcome Event, hosted by the Melbourne Convention Bureau (MCB) will be held on Monday 22 February. It promises to create a memorable and uniquely ‘Melbourne’ experience in one special night for all attendees. It will also provide the highly anticipated once-a-year social and business networking environment that is unique to AIME. In addition, a Networking Hour will occur on the exhibition floor on Tuesday 23 February from 4:45pm – 6pm, with the rest of the evening left free for exhibitor and supplier events.
