Blue Heeler Film Festival - Opening Night Sunday 14 April 2013

The Blue Heeler Film Festival will provide a series of film screenings over the April 2013 school holidays, including the screening of entries in a short film competition in three categories. Watch screenings of the Blue Heeler Film Festival short film competition entries in each category PLUS feature films from 14-21 April 2013 in Muswellbrook and Denman NSW Australia. All events are FREE!

Where: Highbrook Park, Muswellbrook (map).
Event starts from 5.30pm.

This outdoor event is for the young and young-hearted. Watch Junior short film competition entries and a classic family movie. Feel free to bring blankets and chairs. This is an alcohol free event. Please leave your pets at home. Children under 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Admission Free.

Brave is set in the mystical Scottish Highlands, a skilled archer named Merida defies an age-old custom, causing chaos in her kingdom. After consulting a witch for help, Merida accidentally curses her family and is forced to undo the spell herself before it is too late.

The film won the Academy Award for Best Animated Film,the Golden Globe Award for Best Animated Feature Film, and the BAFTA Award for Best Animated Film in 2012.
