Bike riders wanting to join in the fun of the The Mount Royal Mountain Bike Ride have a choice of two levels of difficulty.
The first option is a challenging 30 kilometre loop mountain bike ride on a quiet public gravel road through World Heritage forests of Mount Royal National Park, 50 kilometres north of Singleton in the Hunter Valley, NSW Australia.
The second option is the shorter, easier forest route ride.
The free ride starts from Callicoma Hill Eco-cabins, 529 Mt Royal Rd, Carrowbrook, where accommodation and camping is available over the weekend. Bookings are appreciated. Bring your own bike, food and drinks. The bike ride is unsuitable for younger children, and no support vehicles are allowed.
The Rides will take place on Sunday 28 August 2011 beginning at 10am.
