According to TurkStat, the first half of 2024 saw a 10.2% increase in foreign tourists visiting Türkiye, highlighting the country’s growing appeal.

Aydın also highlighted emerging tourism trends, including short-term stays, international events, and sustainable tourism initiatives. With over 15,000 accommodation facilities certified under a three-stage sustainability program, Türkiye is extending its tourism season to 12 months while targeting growth in key markets such as North America, the Nordic countries, and Asia-Oceania.
