The ROXY Theatre, on Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, is celebrating its 50th anniversary

The Roxy has played host to many iconic performances such as Neil Young who headlined the opening night on 20 September 1973, and the first US run of the British sci-fi musical The Rocky Horror Show. 

Sunset Strip itself is a 1.7-mile stretch of Sunset Boulevard that passes through the city of West Hollywood. 

It is known for its boutiques, restaurants, rock clubs, and nightclubs, as well as its array of huge, colourful billboards.

 
The Roxy Theatre is one of the Sunset Strip’s long-standing and legendary venues. Now celebrating its 50-year anniversary, the Roxy has continually offered an exciting lineup of both new and established artists.
