Art on The Rocks is a six-session event focused on artists talks, which aims to educate, promote and assist both visual and performing artists living and working in Sydney.
From Jody Pawley's talk on sculpture processes to Shazia Imran's insights on marketing and social media, these sessions provide value to the creative community in Sydney.
The first event held last week was a huge success with tickets selling out. The next talk is on 11 March from 5-7pm with Shazia Imran, the Director of AAD Gallery, sharing her insights on Marketing & Social Media. Following this are four more talks with dates still to be confirmed.
Tayim Restaurant & Bar is offering a complimentary welcome drink and nibbles for attendees from their pop up bar, Terrace by Tayim. Taking advantage of the last few weeks of summer, attendees gather out on Nurses Walk to enjoy the outdoor space while listening to the talk.
Afterwards, attendees are invited to Tayim Restaurant & Bar next door for a special 10% off their dinner bill to end the evening. Tayim Restaurant & Bar specialises in Middle Eastern cuisine with bold and flavourful dishes such as the Charred Eggplant with tahini, pine nuts, puffed rice, kumquats & the popular Cauliflower with almond tarator, roast almonds, green raisins, pomegranate and chilli. Blending modern and traditional, Tayim combines the best flavours of the Middle East with fresh, seasonal Australian produce.
For guests travelling in, Harbour Rocks Hotel – MGallery is also offering a 10% off discount when staying.
The event is held at B3/52 Nurses Walk, The Rocks next to Harbour Rocks Hotel & Tayim Restaurant & Bar.
