Tay Thien Scenic Relic Site welcoming visitors and ensuring pandemic prevention

In the complicated situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, when opening the door to welcome guests, the prevention of the spread of the COVID-19 and ensuring safety in Tay Thien Scenic Relic Site (Vinh Phuc Province) have always been concerned by all levels of administration and related sectors.

According to Vinh Phuc Newspaper, in the early days of Spring 2021, a lot of visitors from all over the country came to visit and worship at Tay Thien Scenic Relic Site to pray for a peaceful and lucky new year.

In the context of COVID-19 infections in the community, to ensure the safety for visitors, the Management Board of Tay Thien Scenic Relic Site, Tay Thien Cable Car Management Board (Lac Hong Investment Joint Stock Company), the Health sector and the local authorities have taken drastic measures to prevent pandemic.

They focus arranging orderly the restaurants, ensuring minimum distance; strengthen the force for separation of transport, guide vehicles to the parking to avoid traffic jams, ensure security and safety .

In particular, they place the epidemiological inspection tables, conduct body temperature measurement, and provide masks and hand-washing for visitors at all temples and places where rituals take place.

Along with that, spraying disinfectants in all temples, public places in the scenic area as well as posting recommendations on how to prevent COVID-19 epidemic diseases in places such as: bus stations, tram stations, cable car station.

Tay Thien Scenic Relic Site located in Tam Dao District, Vinh Phuc Province, about 70km northwest of Ha Noi Capital, is an integrated cultural tourism complex, recognized as the Special National Relic Site since 2016.

According to legend, the name Tay Thien means "where Tay Thien monks (India) practice", and is placed to remember the first congregation coming from India to Viet Nam to evangelize.

Tay Thien Scenic Relic Site is nestled in the basin of Tam Dao primeval forest. Tay Thien is known for its ancient religious buildings, such as pagodas, temples, as well as beautiful forests, streams, waterfalls and mountains.

Tay Thien is said to be a cradle of Vietnamese Buddhism, and also a place for worshiping Lady Lang Thi Tieu, who made great contributions to national defense, peace and agricultural development during the dynasty of Hung Kings and then she was honored as National Mother (Quoc Mau Tay Thien).
