Marriott International Asia Pacific most anticipated hotel openings of 2021

From the rugged wilderness of Hobart to the best cities of Japan and the picture-perfect archipelago of the Maldives, here are some of the most anticipated openings and brand debuts.

In 2021, Marriott International is bringing more brands and experiences to new destinations for guests across Asia Pacific.

Australia

W Melbourne (Q1 2021)

Why Go? Melbourne’s first luxury lifestyle hotel with its rebellious Flinders Lane address will open February 4. W Melbourne takes its design cues from the streets of Australia’s cultural capital, holding the back-lane entrance keys to what’s New/Next in the city. Extending the laneway culture inside, 294 bold rooms and suites peel back the layers and revel in the city’s history. W Melbourne will be a playground of three dining destinations, a bar and signature WET pool with skyline views.

Josun Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Seoul Gangnam (Q2 2021)
