Singapore's Interactive Touch for MICE at AIME 2017

After winning AIME's accolade of Best Innovative Stand in 2016, Singapore definitely didn't rest on her laurels. Encouraged by the reception of last year's “YourSingapore Virtual Experience”, the YourSingapore stand at AIME 2017 takes things to the next level, with a unique “interactive wall”.

Once again harnessing state-of-the-art technology to promote Singapore, the special interactive wall will enable AIME delegates to experience Singapore's MICE product offerings through touch.

First launched in Singapore at ITB Asia in October 2016, the wall features 23 unique Singapore icons drawn by local Singaporean artist Francis Theo. When touched, that icon will come to life with lights, sound and visuals, giving delegates a special insight into what Singapore can offer.

Sharon Lam, Area Director Oceania, Singapore Tourism Board said: “After last year's win, we realised how important it was for people to be able to get a taste of what the real Singapore is like. Besides our city's harmonious blend of culture & heritage with our modern facilities and infrastructure, we feel our 'Only in Singapore' offerings are great incentives for groups to choose Singapore as a destination too. We thus hope that the interactive wall will be able to provide delegates another sample of what Singapore can offer them and their groups in a fun and engaging way.”

For 2017, the newcomers on the YourSingapore stand (stand #3914) are:

W Singapore – Sentosa Cove

Located on Sentosa island, the W Singapore is set in a lush and lively coastal setting that offers up excellent dining options. Eight event and meeting spaces translates to over 1,500 sqm of space that will provide delegates a venue and overall experience they will not forget in a hurry.

The St. Regis Singapore:

Situated at upper end of Orchard Road, the St. Regis Singapore affords luxury travellers 299 richly appointed rooms and suites with the legendary St. Regis Butler Service. Besides gastronomic restaurants offering French, Italian and Cantonese cuisines, the hotel also houses one of the largest private collections of masterpieces from revered artists around the world, and The Art of Living is a daily exclusive tour of some of the premier collections within the hotel, conducted by a St. Regis Butler.
