NSW Rural Fire Service Warning

Emergency Alert telephone warning messages are being sent to people in the Hunter, Central Ranges and North Western area that are covered by a Catastrophic fire danger rating tomorrow. You may receive the message more than once if you're in the area.

If you get the message on your phone, consider leaving bush fire prone areas (like thick bushland or open paddocks) tonight or first thing in the morning.

Consider relocating to a safer location during the hottest and driest part of the day such as a major town that is well away from bushland or open paddocks.

Avoid travelling during the worst of the conditions. If you need to travel, use main roads and highways. Avoid backroads or tracks wherever possible.

Don't call 000 unless it's report a fire emergency.
