Celebrating the new look of the hotel, the Hon. Stuart Ayres cut the ribbon alongside Michael Johnson, General Manager PARKROYAL Parramatta, Keren Southgate, Area Director of Sales Oceania, and Caroline Hitchen, Area Director of Marketing and Communications Oceania of Pan Pacific Hotels Group.
Guests were treated to a delicious array of sweet and savoury bites including Peking duck consommé, wagyu steaks asado, Pacific Oysters with Champagne Sorbet, and assorted cheeses with lavosh, whilst they relaxed and mingled over a glass of champagne. Some special guests of the night included David Elliott, MP for Baulkham Hills, and Amanda Chadwick, Administrator of City of Parramatta.
The evening continued with a Brazilian dance performance followed by a special session of lucky prize draws, where guests had the opportunity to win luxurious stays in the new Club and Premier rooms as well as delicious lunches in the new al fresco Bar 30 & Bistro.
General Manager PARKROYAL Parramatta, Michael Johnson speaks very fondly of the success of the event, “We are excited to showcase the recent enhancements to the hotel, and it is the perfect opportunity for our valued long-term partners and media contacts to experience our dedication in delivering the PARKROYAL Hotels & Resorts' signature hospitality and brand values.”
The $25m redevelopment and extension had seen an addition of a seven-storey tower with 50 new Premier Rooms, 40 new Club Rooms, a Club Lounge, and a new state-of-the-art gymnasium to PARKROYAL Parramatta, positioning the hotel as the largest hotel in Parramatta and the only hotel in the region with Club facilities.
