Art Gallery of New South Wales' Archibald Prize Splashes Colour into High Tea

Sydney's 'hotel for the arts' Sofitel Sydney Wentworth is offering guests a unique, art inspired high tea from 18 July to 27 September 2015 in partnership with the Art Gallery of New South Wales' (AGNSW) Archibald Prize 2015.

Since its inception in 1921, the prize has been awarded to some of Australia's most important artists, including George Lambert, William Dobell, Brett Whiteley and John Olsen.

Sofitel Wentworth Sydney has been the official hotel partner of the Archibald Prize since 2005, and is an ongoing and proud supporter of the Art Gallery of New South Wales as a partnership that reflects Sofitel's spirit of l'art de vivre.

* The winning portrait will be selected by an independent panel and announced on Sofitel Sydney's Facebook page on Monday 28 September 2015.
