I think the Middle East and the UAE would be a tremendous location for upcoming annual congresses. I hope to network with as many individuals and venues as possible, take back this invaluable information and present back to my pharmaceutical clients."

Working in partnership with ibtm arabia exhibitors, the innovative one-to-one business event is recruiting buyers who exhibitors have specifically requested according to their business objectives. In total, up to 200 Hosted Buyers will come from Middle East, Europe, Asia Pacific, North America, South America and Africa, and are qualified under strict criteria including their purchasing authority, their annual Middle East and international MICE business organised, confirmation of their annual budget and future business to place at ibtm arabia. In addition each of these Hosted Buyers will not have attended GIBTM in 2014.

For the first time and unique to the region, ibtm arabia will allow both exhibitors and Hosted Buyers to select online who they would like to schedule a meeting with and their appointments will be mutually matched based on the preferences of both parties. Some 30 appointments will be provided to each exhibitor and Hosted Buyer on a one-to-one ratio over the duration of the event.

“We have designed ibtm arabia to be an essential business opportunity as well as an event created on a more personal level for networking, combining opportunities to do everything together from the outset. We will have a Discovery Day where exhibitors and Hosted Buyers can share time seeing and learning about Abu Dhabi, a Knowledge Forum and a welcome reception. All of this time can be valuable additional business opportunities,” said Lois Wilcox Exhibition Manager, ibtm arabia.

One of the event’s first time Hosted Buyers Kim Harper of Travel Manager Achievement Awards Group in South Africa is looking for new DMC’s and to start placing business for some of the key events in the region such as Rugby World Cup. “We are definitely interested in the Middle East as a place for us to place business and need to source DMC’s to work with us”.

Alan Dilani, Ph.D. - Professor, Architect/Public Health, International Academy for Design & Health, Sweden added; “We see ibtm arabia as an important place to understand and introduce ourselves in a region that we are looking at for future business”.

ibtm arabia provides ready-made, exclusively designed meeting pods for every exhibitor. The all-inclusive solution is a design that allows for the customisation of an exhibitor’s corporate branding, all done in advance of their arrival onsite. One price, no hassle and exhibitors arrive fresh for the commencement of the business schedule.

Asaad Hijazi, General Manager of Bespoke Discovery, Jordan, concluded; “ibtm arabia is a great opportunity to meet new destinations, new professional suppliers (DMCs) and hotels chains and meet with them face to face to understand their capacities to handle our future business.”
