FREE iPHONE APP PROVIDES ACCESS TO HUNDREDS OF SCHOOL HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES

Parents and children are invited to check out hundreds of great ideas for the school holidays on the Go Play website and free iPhone app, the NSW Government’s online school holiday calendar featuring art, culture, sport, recreational and other events and activities for children of all ages across NSW.

A selection of activities featured on Go Play include:

• Experience a taste of farming life at the Western Sydney Parkland’s Calmsley Hill City Farm, featuring animal shows, cow milking, tractor rides and sheep shearing all located just outside of Sydney in Abbotsbury.
• Sydney Olympic Park is brilliant for bikes! Bring your own wheels or hire them in the Park. Choose from three amazing circuits starting in Bicentennial Park.
• Discover the beautiful Avoca Lagoon via a canoe or kayak trip. Sport and Recreation’s experienced guides teach children the basics, with kayaks, paddles and life jackets being provided.
• Enjoy a free guided tour of the stunning World Heritage rainforests of Gondwana in Dorrigo with NSW Parks and Wildlife Discovery rangers.
