Using Western Australia's historic Busselton Jetty as a feature of the event, it is the only open water swim where spectators can watch the entire 3.6-kilometre course from the jetty itself.

Emergence Creative
February 20 - 22Some of the world's leading creative and digital professionals will be coming to Margaret River, to participate in the inaugural Emergence Creative Festival in February 2013. Creatives, entrepreneurs and techs from the advertising, communications, music, film, digital and design industries will take over the grounds of Leeuwin Estate vineyard. Here, they will listen to prominent international and local speakers as well as debate and showcase future directions in the creative, startup and investment industry space. The event is being dubbed an 'anti-conference', set outside the boardroom and amongst nature in vineyards, at the beach and in the forest.
