The conference brought together over 180 CTG team members, partners, and industry leaders from across the country at Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove. With the theme Ubuntu Infinite - Living Absolutely, the event celebrated CTG’s guiding values and the concept of Ubuntu: “I am because of you, we are because of each other.”
The program featured dynamic keynote sessions with motivational speakers Kirk Peterson and Robyn Moore AM, alongside supplier showcases, industry panels, and exciting leadership updates. With continued investment in its people, purpose, and AI technology, Connections Travel Group is entering a new phase of growth expanding its impact, streamlining operations, and leading the way as Australia’s largest independently owned travel management company.
CTG includes industry-leading brands, CT Connections (corporate travel), Edge Connections (luxury leisure), and Totem Connections (MICE). With over $250 million in annual travel spend, CTG continues to embrace emerging technologies and lead the industry in innovation - including being the first Australian travel management company to access Qantas Premium NDC content.
A major milestone during the conference was the official launch of CTG's social impact enterprise, CORE Transitions.
CORE Transitions is a social enterprise supporting individuals with disability to find their voice and purpose so that they can thrive in their communities. This is achieved through targeted employment supports, upskilling in life skills and travel support to promote capability, confidence and agency.
CORE Transitions is creating an opportunity for the entire travel sector to come together and break down barriers to inclusion and build practical pathways to employment for people with disability. In the spirit of Ubuntu, the conference provided the perfect setting to unite suppliers, partners, and industry leaders around this shared mission for impact.
The supplier showcase offered an invaluable opportunity for CTG’s extensive supplier network to connect directly with CTG’s travel professionals. The showcase enabled face-to-face engagement, product education, and relationship building, giving suppliers a platform to demonstrate the latest travel solutions and innovations. The energy in the room reflected the strength of CTG’s collaborative ecosystem and its shared commitment to delivering exceptional value to clients.
