VISIT GLORIOUS GHENT

Van Eyck’s Adoration of the Mystic Lamb
A favourite with city with Australian travellers, now is the time to re-visit and check out one of the Ghent’s highlights – the restoration of Van Eyck’s Adoration of the Mystic Lamb and the new visitors centre in the crypt of St Bavo’s Cathedral.

While this was completed in 2020, with our borders closed, now is the first opportunity to Australian travellers to see the incredible detail that was revealed in the restoration of the artwork also known as Europe’s most stolen piece of artwork.

Be sure to stay at least a night in Ghent, it is a destination with many fine restaurants, bars and (unique beers).

Recommendations are happily provided on request!
