AIME 2013 (February 26 -27) will kick off with 'Melbourne
LIVE' at the city's hottest new wining and dining precinct, South Wharf
Promenade, conveniently located adjacent to the Melbourne Convention and
Exhibition Centre.
AIME 2013 will bring together exhibitors, Hosted Buyers and visitors from the
meetings and incentives industry from around the world to network and do
business over the two-day event. AIME is getting ready to showcase
destinations, venues and a wide range of products and services from all parts
of Australia, Asia-Paciļ¬c regions as well as from international market.
International post tour itineraries are being offered to Buyers attending the
2013 Asia-Pacific Meetings & Incentives Expo (AIME), marking a first in
the trade show’s 21 year history. The new initiative from the leading meetings
and events trade show in the Asia-Pacific region, offers Hosted Buyers the
chance to take part in one of two new exciting post tour options to New Zealand
and Singapore.
At the 20th anniversary Asia-Pacific Incentives & Meetings Expo (AIME)
2012, 500 Hosted Buyers from 27 countries attended AIME, which was an increase
of 16.5 per cent compared to 2011. Furthermore, 779 exhibitors were present at
the show and pre-audited figures showed that an impressive 3,384 visitors
attended over the two days.
Exhibiting at AIME is a cost and time effective opportunity to generate sales
leads, launch new products, develop new and existing client relationships and
find out the latest in the industry. This year AIME has extended the show
profile beyond the meetings and events industry to incorporate the world of
business travel. A logical extension to the current show profile, business
travel will afford new possibilities and increased return on investment for
those exhibitors and buyers already operating in this field, as well as
introducing new specialist suppliers and buyers to the event.
AIME has expanded to introduce Business Travel at AIME 2013 and is once again
partnering with the Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) to
include an entire education stream of business travel relevant content to AIME.
AIME Knowledge will also include personal development sessions - with topics
ranging from entrepreneurship, to reaching your potential to negotiation. For
the first time, US companies will have the opportunity to share dedicated space
on the exhibition floor by participating on the US Pavilion and gain access to
over 4,000 industry professionals.
A new technology zone is set to launch at the 2013 Asia-Pacific Incentives
& Meetings Expo (AIME). The Future Events Experience will showcase the
latest concepts and innovations for the MICE industry and provide an
interactive experience for attendees eager to stay at the forefront of
technological developments.
