The 3rd edition of the event
is less than one month away and as preparations gear up, the organizers have
unveiled news for visitors and planners as well as information about the
conference program. This year’s event taking place in Budapest from 10 to 12
February will offer more destinations, more solution providers for more quality
MICE services within Central & Eastern Europe and more qualified and
screened hosted buyers interested in making use of the huge potential the CEE
region offers. And the CEE & CIS countries have a lot to offer,
including an immense undiscovered incentive potential, fine conference
facilities, extended flight routes, many restored historic and new
purpose-built venues as well as hotels providing top quality events and all
proving excellent value for money.
The event is exclusive to participate, with a conference program providing further insights into the CEE and CIS regions. Top speakers ensure increased knowledge allowing all participants to gain the best possible outcome for ones businesses. Amongst others, one of the speakers will be Jackie Mulligan from Meeting Professionals International (MPI) from Leeds Metropolitan University, UK introducing the latest on CSR and the future of meetings. She will present actual results from her work as Director of Enterprise at the International Centre for Research in Events, Tourism and Hospitality.
All hosted buyers invited to join the event have been selected, screened and qualified based on their interest and MICE business potential for CEE. Match-made one-to-one business meetings form the core of the event. The conference program, the networking events, a welcome reception, gala dinners and a party assure a varied and brain active event program.
Budapest, a perfect example for an inspiring meeting destination by itself – is going to serve as a historic backdrop for the whole event. The host venue of the Event, Corinthia Hotel Budapest – a contemporary five-star luxury hotel with spa in historic premises – is going to host the welcome reception as well. The hotel was opened as the Grand Hotel Royal back in 1896 and was fully refurbished in 2003 including the new Orfeum Club.
The MCE CEE Event, supported by leading industry entities as MPI and Kuoni, has developed into a “must-attend event” in the promotional calendar of destination marketing organizations and regional service providers as well as worldwide planners. Planners come from Europe, but a sharp increase from Middle Eastern, Asian and American buyers shows the increased interest and potential the Central & Eastern European region offers.
