Kyoto received third place in the Travel + Leisure Readers' 25 Favorite Cities in the World of 2023

Travel + Leisure, one of the world's most influential travel magazines, released their World Favourite Cities ranking on July 11, and Kyoto ranked in third place in the worldwide ranking. 

The result was introduced with readers' comments such as "incredible sights and cultural landmarks with so much history that is so different from the cultures of Europe and the U.S.," as well as comments on the inherent beauty and the rich cultural fusion between the new and the old.
