Every summer a huge tower called a yagura is built at Tsukiji Hongwanji Temple and large numbers of locals and visitors come to dance around it.

During the festival, some of Tsukiji's most well-known restaurants and food companies set-up food stands giving the festival the a reputation as “the most delicious Bon Dance in Japan.”
