The Rheingau Wine Week Wiesbaden

The annual Rheingau Wine Week Wiesbaden takes place on the Schlossplatz in front of the Marktkirche, and in the Dern'sche.

It claims to be the world’s ‘longest wine counter'. 

Wiesbaden is a city in the western German state of Hesse. 

Its neoclassical Kurhaus now houses a convention center and a casino and the Kurpark is an English-style landscaped garden designed in 1852 

Every year in August, Wiesbaden’s Schlossplatz, the square in front of the Market Church, and "Dern'sches Gelände" turn into the most favourite destination for friends of wine and sparkling wine. 

In 2023, the wine festival takes place for the 46 time between 11 and 20 August.
