England's Seafood FEAST on the English Riviera

England’s Seafood FEAST is a two-week celebration of South Devon seafood in the English Riviera, which takes in the towns of Brixham, Paignton and Torquay. 

The event will embrace street food, seafood celebration suppers and guest chef events, featuring local seafood, hosted by local eateries across the three towns. 

Visitors will be able to pick from seafood set menus and platters, tasting menus, crab-cracking masterclasses and guest chef events. 

There will be live events including Mussels and Music, Seafood and Sax, and the SUP and Seafood at Sunrise. 

A highlight will be 7 Chefs in Torquay on Saturday 30 September and Brixham on Saturday 7 October offering 7 courses over 7 hours in 7 restaurants, with a ‘Trust the Chef’ menu announced on the day. 

All events during England’s Seafood Feast features seafood caught and landed along with locally produced beer, cider, wine and gin. 

The heart of the FEAST is Brixham Fish Market, where England’s biggest catch by value is landed and where over 40 species of fish and shellfish is sold at the daily auction. 

The event dovetails with National Seafood Month and a continuation of British Food Fortnight. 

The English Riviera in South Devon includes Torquay, Cockington, Paignton, Brixham and Babbacombe along with over 22 miles of coastline, harbours, coves and beaches and over 800 places to stay. 

The English Riviera BID Company and Torbay Council are headline sponsors for this year’s England’s Seafood FEAST.
