GROUNDWATER CMF: LIVE MUSIC RETURNS TO THE GOLD COAST

Groundwater is set to be one of the first major music festivals in some time when it returns 12-14 November, with its unique combination of Country music charm, ocean calm, and tropical palms, it promises to deliver a memorable weekend of sun, sand, surf, sophistication, and incredible sounds.

Queensland is widely regarded as Australia’s home of country music, and this is reflected in the line-up, with Queenslander’s making up over half of Groundwater’s stacked schedule of country music stars. We’re showcasing over 40 artists across 5 stages and 3 days, and best of all, Groundwater is completely free, non-ticketed, and frankly, unmissable!

Following a cracking first line-up announcement including Country icons The Wolfe Brothers, Adam Harvey, and Sara Storer, Groundwater CMF is thrilled to reveal an equally spectacular second line-up.

Jumping on board are the likes of charismatic and charitable legend Adam Brand, Sir Elton John’s favourite woman from Down Under, the fiercely authentic Catherine Britt, as well as hometown hero Casey Barnes, and Kiwi Country Queen, Kaylee Bell.

“I’m so excited to present an extremely diverse country music line up for Groundwater this November. It will be great to see Adam Brand, Catherine Britt, and Casey Barnes back at the event , as well as festival first timers like The New Graces , Arlington, and Lily Grace. Every stage will see a stellar line up of our homegrown Aussie country music artists.” Festival Director Mark Duckworth said.

“Groundwater CMF is unlike your typical country music festival, our picturesque beachside destination on the Gold Coast gives country music fans the opportunity to enjoy a tropical holiday whilst kicking back and watching their favourite artists - It’s the ultimate festival experience, and best of all, Groundwater CMF is completely free to attend."

Gold Coast’s very own local legend Casey Barnes cannot wait to return to Groundwater and show off his hometown in all its glory. 'Nothing beats a hometown show and they don't come much bigger than the Groundwater Country Music Festival!” Casey declared.

“Easily one of my favourite festivals to perform at plus it’s in one of the most incredible locations in Australia. Can't wait to see you all for one heck of a weekend in November!'

Catherine Britt (pictured below) shares Casey’s excitement. “I can’t wait to get back to the sun and sand of QLD’s beautiful Gold Coast for one of Australia’s premier country music festivals, Groundwater.” She said.

“After the year it’s been for everyone - I’m so excited to bring my band and play a bunch of new songs from my ‘Home Truths’ album - along with all the fan favourites! See you there and let’s have some fun!”
