Exclusive Vivid Sydney Vantage on Sail at Darling Harbour

Corporate visitors to Vivid Sydney who want to be part of the action in an exclusive but relaxed and quiet environment need look no further than the Australian National Maritime Museum's Vivid packages. The Australian National Maritime Museum (ANMM) has announced event packages featuring an exclusive, private-viewing platform which is ideal for showcasing the brilliant installations that will illuminate the Harbour.

Darling Harbour is set to light up during Vivid Sydney with exquisite projections on the Museum's white roof sails of Norbert the Nautilus' search for a new home. These radiant images from the much-loved animated film, The Nautilus and The Sea, will provide the distinctive setting for a luminous night out in the heart of the Harbour.

“Now is the perfect time to book that end of the financial year celebration as Vivid Sydney will take place from May 27 to June 18. We are sure that event organisers and their guests will embrace the opportunity to share the magic of Vivid Sydney in our prestigious new waterfront venue, the Waterfront Pavilion,” said Deanna Varga, Assistant Director, Commercial and Visitor Services at the Australian National Maritime Museum.

ANMM's packages are ideal for hosting clients on the Lookout, the riveting new venue which is part of the recently-inaugurated Waterfront Pavilion or on the stunning vessel, HMAS Vampire for a function with a difference. Jutting out onto the harbour, the upstairs deck of the arresting pavilion will provide a much-coveted, uninterrupted view of Darling Harbour's Vivid Sydney lights and displays as they come to life.

For those wanting to float on water, HMAS Vampire is ideal for taking in the vibrant rooftop projections. The last of Australia's big gun ships, HMAS Vampire is the museum's largest vessel and forms part of their exciting new attraction, the $12 million Action Stations at the Waterfront Pavilion.

From $45 per person, packages include catering with a choice of six tantalising platters, a one or two-hour beverage package, cocktail furniture, event and security staff and are available from Monday to Thursday. Fridays and weekends may be available upon request in alternative venues.

With Vivid Sydney just around the corner, now is the time for event organisers to look at hosting a function in this kaleidoscopic ambiance to share the magic, be it in 2016 or for longer-term planners, 2017.

The Vivid Sydney fun at Darling Harbour also includes three light sculptures in the museum's precinct, a pop-up store and easy access to the dazzling multimedia show, the Laser Dragon-Water Theatre.

Take in the stars and lights as the Australian National Maritime Museum celebrates Vivid Sydney, the festival bringing art, technology and commerce together.
