Accordingly, the number of international visitors visiting Vietnam by air was 647,233 arrivals accounting for 76.87% (up 39.95% over the same period of 2013); by sea: 15,241 arrivals, accounting for 1.81% (down 23.79%); by road: 179,552 arrivals, accounting for 21.32% (up 104.04%).
This impressive result added to total int’l visitors to Vietnam in the first 2 months of 2014 of over 1.6 million arrivals, increasing by 33,40% over the same period last year.
In the first 2 month of 2014, most of tourist markets increased sharply comparing with the same period of 2013, namely Germany (262.68%), Hong Kong (222.76%), Russia (70.15%), China (50.11%), Cambodia (36.90%), Philippines (27.53%), Italy (26.59%)…
Domestic tourists in 2 months 2014 estimated 9.5 million arrivals, up 21.79% comparing with the same period of 2013; total tourism revenue was around VND 47,000 billion, up 34.28%.
