CELEBRATE AUSTRALIA DAY IN NSW

Visitors to NSW will be met with an exciting line-up of events and experiences over the upcoming Australia Day long weekend.

NSW Minister for Tourism and Major Events Adam Marshall said, “The Australia Day long weekend is a great opportunity to explore NSW and discover the unique events, hidden gems and exciting experiences on offer.”

“NSW offers a diverse range of exciting long weekend activities, be it road tripping and beach hopping on the South Coast, an epic hiking challenge in the Snowy Mountains or leisurely exploring the State’s cellar doors and boutique providores in the Hunter Valley.”

Take the 100 Beaches Challenge, hire a houseboat on the Murray, drive the Waterfall Way, picnic on top of Mount Kosciusko or enjoy the Hunter Valley grape harvest.

Sydney will also be a hive of activity with fantastic events around the city, including live music, harbour parades, gourmet food trucks and awe-inspiring fireworks.

There will be family entertainment on offer with two Wiggles concerts at Darling Harbour, supported by the NSW Government via its tourism and major events agency Destination NSW – plus, an all-star line-up of Aussie talent at the Australia Day 2018 – Live at Sydney Opera House concert.
