Australians Invited to be Part of History on Queen Elizabeth

Australian travellers have the opportunity to be part of Queen Elizabeth’s history-making season Down Under next year, with cruises ranging from two to 18 nights on offer.

Cunard says there is still some availability on Queen Elizabeth during her record two-month deployment in local waters next year, giving Australians a wonderful opportunity to experience the timeless elegance of the luxury cruise line’s youngest ship across a selection of itineraries.

Carrying 2080 guests, the 90,900-tonne Queen Elizabeth will be based in Sydney and Melbourne between February and April 2019 – the longest deployment Down Under for any of Cunard’s current fleet of Queens.

Fares start from $649* per person twin share in a private balcony stateroom for a two-night voyage from Melbourne to Sydney, departing March 30, 2019.

Travellers with more time on their hands can enjoy an 18-night round trip cruise from Melbourne exploring New Zealand and Tasmania, with fares for a private balcony stateroom priced from $5099* per person twin share. Departing Melbourne on March 12, 2019, Queen Elizabeth will visit historic Hobart and Port Arthur before sailing across the Tasman for calls to Picton, Dunedin and Akaroa as well as an overnight stay in Wellington and scenic cruising through Marlborough Sounds and Fiordland.

Other cruises on offer include: · A three-night one way cruise from Sydney to Melbourne, departing March 9, 2019 and priced from $999 per person twin share in a private balcony stateroom
  • A 16-night one way trip cruise from Brisbane to Yokohama, Japan, departing April 3, 2019 and priced from $4549* per person twin share in a private balcony stateroom
