Viet Nam promotes tourism in Australia

On 15 August 2017, Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) organized roadshow introducing Viet Nam tourism in Perth City, Australia.

The delegation led by Vice Chairman of VNAT Ngo Hoai Chung with the participation of 20 Vietnamese tourism enterprises.

At the roadshow, new tourism products and policies of Viet Nam were presented to Australian delegates. Also, the tourism enterprises and organizations of Viet Nam and Australia had a meeting to seek opportunity to boost tourism cooperation.

Spoke highly of the promotion activities of Viet Nam in Australia, Vietnamese Consulate General in Perth City promised to continue to support tourism enterprises on visa application and facilitate tourism development between the two countries.

Australia has been one of source tourist markets of Viet Nam which saw high growth. The promotion event was a chance to promote the beauty of Viet Nam’s land, people and further lure Australian visitors.

Viet Nam received over 320,000 Australian arrivals in 2016, increasing 5.6% compared to 2015; and 217,000 arrivals in the first seven months of this year, up 11.4% over the same period last year.

Together with Perth, VNAT also held roadshows in two other Australian cities of Sydney and Melbourne on 17-18 August, respectively.
