The 2011 Annual Merriwa Springtime Show will be action packed for all the family!
Featured attractions include the Demolition Derby, Young Farmer Competition, Hunter Mutual “Merriwa’s Got Talent”, Woodchopping, Cross Country Mahindra Ute Muster, Steer Rides, Campdrafting, Triple Crown (ute-quad-horse), MacCallum Inglis “Olympic” games, BIG DOG, and Griego the Magician
There will also be Showjumping, ASH & All Breeds, riders & hacks, Stud and Prime Cattle, Prime and Merino Sheep, produce, wool, dogs & pets and a Dogs High Jump. There will be plenty of Showmen’s Guild rides, great country food, and of course showbags.
For the children there will be a Decorated Push Bikes (with free entry) and a Lolly Drop. There will be heaps of stalls & displays including Cooking, Needlework, Art, Craft, Photography, Horticulture, Preserves, Produce, and School Displays.
On the Saturday night the feature event will be the NAB Rodeo. Live Music will include Sarah Brown on Friday Night and Kim McKenzie on Saturday Night.
The Merriwa Springtime Show will be held on Friday 16th and Sunday 17th September 2011, with the gates opening from 8:00am each day. Admission charges this year are:-
Members & Guests – FREE,
1 Day Pass: Family - $20, Adult - $10, Children (5 - 18yrs) - $6
2 Day Pass: Family - $30, Adult - $15, Children (5 - 18yrs) - $9, Under 6 Free!
FREE admission to any child riding a decorated push bike!
