Atura Oran Park Opens in Western Sydney: A New Hotel Destination for Dining, Events and Relaxation

Atura Oran Park
Western Sydney welcomed a new hospitality destination with the official opening of Atura Oran Park on 30 October 2026. Located approximately 20 minutes from Western Sydney International Airport, the 184-room hotel introduced contemporary accommodation, Italian-inspired dining, a resort-style swimming pool and versatile event facilities to one of Australia's fastest-growing communities.

Developed through a partnership between EVT Hotels & Resorts and the Perich family, Atura Oran Park was designed to serve business travellers, families, event guests and local residents seeking a welcoming place to stay, dine and celebrate.

The opening came just days after operations commenced at Western Sydney International Airport, positioning the hotel to benefit from the region's expanding aviation, business and tourism opportunities.

Contemporary Design Inspired by Oran Park's Motorsport Heritage

Atura Oran Park combined modern architecture by Studio SC with interiors by Nic Graham, drawing inspiration from the area's motorsport history and evolving urban landscape.

A standout feature was a sculptural installation by internationally acclaimed Indonesian artist Ichwan Noor, who reimagined the iconic Holden Torana A9X racing car as a near-perfect cube. The artwork paid tribute to the racing legacy associated with Peter Brock and Oran Park.

Sydney artist George Buchanan created another striking installation using thousands of toy cars, planes and trains donated by people across Australia. The artwork depicted the Nepean River at sunset, connecting community contributions with the history and development of Western Sydney.

Racing-inspired carpets, murals, archival photographs and contemporary landscape imagery continued the theme throughout the hotel's public areas and guest rooms.

184 Rooms Designed for Business and Leisure

The hotel offered 184 contemporary rooms and suites, catering for overnight stays, business trips, family holidays and longer visits.

Accommodation options included king and twin rooms, accessible rooms and spacious suites with separate bedrooms and lounge areas. Selected rooms featured private balconies and pool views, while suites included kitchenettes and washing machines for added convenience during extended stays.

Guest amenities included high-speed Wi-Fi, Chromecast-enabled smart televisions, dedicated workspaces, minibars, Mr Smith amenities and access to 24-hour room service. Interconnecting rooms also provided flexibility for families and groups travelling together.

Tavola Introduces Italian-Inspired Dining

Tavola, the hotel's restaurant and bar, brought a contemporary interpretation of Italian dining to Oran Park. Its menu celebrated seasonal produce, local suppliers and share-style dishes designed to encourage guests to gather around the table.

Highlights included wood-fired pizzas, blue swimmer crab linguine, Riverina Black Angus rib eye with Café de Paris butter and Nonna's pork and veal meatballs. Italian Bombe Alaska offered a distinctive dessert option.

The restaurant and bar provided a setting for casual meals, business lunches, social gatherings and celebratory dinners, adding another dining destination to the South Western Sydney region.

A Heated Pool and Flexible Event Venues

Leisure facilities included a heated outdoor swimming pool and terrace designed for year-round relaxation, complemented by a poolside menu of light meals and drinks.

For business and special occasions, the hotel featured seven event spaces accommodating gatherings ranging from 12 to 500 guests.

The venues catered for corporate meetings, conferences, weddings, milestone celebrations and community functions. The intimate Pit Stop private dining room and boardroom accommodated up to 15 people, while The Grandstand provided a pillarless, naturally lit space for larger events of up to 500 guests.

Outdoor seating and bar areas offered additional opportunities for pre-event drinks and post-conference networking.

A New Hospitality Hub for Western Sydney

Atura Oran Park's opening represented a significant addition to the region's growing accommodation and hospitality sector. Its location near Western Sydney International Airport offered potential convenience for visitors exploring the region, attending business events or visiting family and friends.

The hotel became the fifth Australian property under the Atura brand, joining hotels in Blacktown, Albury, Dandenong and Adelaide Airport.

To celebrate the opening, a promotional offer included breakfast for guests staying before the end of January 2027, subject to the applicable booking conditions.

With contemporary rooms, destination dining, leisure facilities and flexible event spaces, Atura Oran Park established a new gathering place for visitors and the local community.
