CUTE SWEETS FOR A CAFE TIME

In the eastern part of Tottori Prefecture, in Wakasa Town, there is a shop near Wakasa Station where you can buy the famous "Benten Manju."Benten Manju" is a traditional Japanese sweet made with homemade rice flour dough wrapped around sweet red bean paste.

It has a texture similar to mochi and is known for its simple and natural sweetness.

The "Benten Manju Honpo" shop, where you can purchase these manju, also has seating for eating in.

In addition to Benten Manju, they offer other treats like "yomogi" and "tochi" (types of filled pastries).

There is a production area next to the cashier, so if you're lucky, you might get to see them being made.
