The island of Barbados, in the eastern Caribbean, is known for its beaches, botanical gardens, Harrison’s Cave formation and 17th-century plantation houses.
The Barbados Food and Rum Festival gives due prominence to the rum while also highlighting the island's culinary offering.
This year’s Festival will highlight the talents of 29 award-winning local chefs and mixologists who will headline signature events. While the Festival itself runs for four days, additional events and activities take place throughout October.
Each year, Barbados hosts a range of events including the Barbados Reggae and the Crop Over Festivals.
