Developed in association with leading Australian psychologist, Dr Jaimie Bloch, a new Fun Type questionnaire has launched today on the Carnival Cruise Line website. Through a short series of questions analysing users’ travel habits, holiday schedules and dream getaway desires, respondents are identified as one of six key Fun Type personalities, from the Chill Seeker to the Action Packer.
After discovering their Fun Type, users will then be matched to their perfect cruise itinerary, complete with shore excursions and personalised onboard activities.
To bring the new campaign to life, Carnival has enlisted the help of Aussie TV personality Beau Ryan. Beau, along with his wife Kara and two kids will feature in digital and social content, encouraging Aussies to find their Fun Type and experience the fun of a Carnival cruise.
On being a part of the new campaign, Beau said “We’ve definitely all been starved of fun in the past two years but after working with the Carnival team I finally know what my Fun Type is. I’m an Action Packer through and through! This has been a great opportunity to encourage Aussies to get back out there and bring a little fun back into our lives. I can’t wait until my family and I can jump onboard Carnival Splendor so we can embrace the real us.”
Kara Glamore, Vice President of Carnival Cruise Line Australia said the new campaign is a reflection of Carnival’s ongoing commitment to providing its guests fun, memorable holidays at great value. “Fun is what we’re all about at Carnival, so we’re very excited to unveil this new campaign. Fun Type will be a key component of how we interact with our guests and partners, and we see this extending even further in future.
“Whether you are a Splash Maker, an Early Bird or a Navigator, a cruise with Carnival provides something for every Fun Type, and we can’t wait to show Aussies all we have to offer.”
