Reminder! Don’t forget to register for the 2020 Virtual Tourism Congress

Registration is open for the Tourism Industry Association of Canada’s (TIAC) first virtual Tourism Congress, taking place on November 17 and 18. While many industry members may have attended the annual in-person event in Ottawa, the virtual event will provide an important opportunity to hear and discuss thought-provoking content, insights and ideas to help rebuild the visitor economy and navigate the new tourism landscape, as well as, the usual networking opportunities, helping connecting colleagues from coast to coast to coast.

This year, TIAC will be offering free registration, thanks to the support of the Government of Canada and the Canadian Experience Fund.

As part of the programming, Destination Canada’s Regional Managing Director, North America, Sarah Finstad and Executive Director, Research & Analytics, Chantz Strong, will be leading a session on November 18 to discuss innovative research approaches that inform the strategies, tools and resources that help the Canadian tourism industry.
